True Lies on Game Boy is exactly what it sounds like—you play as Arnold Schwarzenegger blowing stuff up and taking down terrorists, just like in the movie. It's a side-scroller where you punch, shoot, and occasionally hijack vehicles (including a hilarious horseback chase). The sprites are tiny but surprisingly detailed—Arnold even does his signature one-liners in text boxes.
It’s not the deepest game out there, but the levels switch things up enough to keep it from getting stale. One minute you’re sneaking through a nightclub, the next you’re in a full-on shootout on a speeding train. The controls are a little stiff, but once you get used to them, it’s a solid way to kill half an hour if you’re into '90s action cheese.
