Okay, so True Lies on GB is basically what happens when you take Arnold Schwarzenegger’s ridiculous action movie and cram it into a tiny Game Boy cartridge. You play as Harry Tasker, running through levels that feel like someone speed-ran the movie’s plot—shooting bad guys, dodging explosions, and occasionally wondering how this even works in 8-bit.
The graphics are pure 90s Game Boy—chunky sprites, limited colors, and explosions that look like someone scribbled with a yellow crayon. But somehow, it’s weirdly charming? The controls take a second to get used to (why does jumping feel so stiff?), but once you’re in, it’s got that old-school "one more try" vibe when you die for the tenth time on the same level.
It’s not deep, but if you’re into retro action games or just love the movie, it’s a fun little time capsule. Just don’t expect any Oscar-worthy storytelling here—just Arnold blowing stuff up in pixel form.
