About Trojan
Trojan was released for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1986 by Capcom. It came out during a time when many games were testing the limits of side scrolling action on the console.
You control a warrior navigating a post apocalyptic city. Your main goal is to defeat the warlord and his armies to restore peace. You move screen by screen through urban ruins, using a sword for close combat and a shield to block incoming attacks. The game requires careful timing to parry enemy strikes and manage your positioning. It is a difficult game that punishes mistakes quickly. Playing Trojan feels like a deliberate and tense duel where every block and swing matters.
