Okay, so Trog! is this weirdly charming NES game where you play as these little dinosaurs trying not to get eaten by a caveman. And not just any caveman—Trog’s got one eye, a pogo stick, and apparently just invented fire purely to make your life harder.

You’re basically running through these colorful, maze-like islands while Trog chases you down with increasingly ridiculous tools. At first it’s just him lumbering after you, but then he starts bouncing around on that stupid pogo stick or rolling at you with a flaming wheel. The power-ups are the best part though—grab a pineapple (because of course) and suddenly you’re a T-Rex who can stomp him flat. Feels good.

It’s got that classic arcade vibe where things start simple but get chaotic fast. Play solo or with a friend, but either way, expect a lot of yelling when Trog corners you with his latest prehistoric tech. The whole thing’s goofy, a little unfair, and weirdly addictive.
