Town & Country Surf Designs: Wood & Water Rage came out for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1988, developed by TOSE. You control an athlete competing in three different events: skateboarding, surfing, and kayaking. In the skateboarding section, you build speed on a half-pipe to launch into the air and perform grabs. The surfing event has you riding waves and executing turns and jumps. Kayaking involves navigating a wooded river, dodging obstacles. The game moves quickly, and the timing for tricks can be unforgiving, making it quite challenging to master.
