Top Rider is one of those weird little NES bike racers that never made it outside Japan. You’ve got this top-down view where your tiny motorcycle zips around tight corners, dodging traffic and trying not to wipe out—which happens a lot at first. The controls take some getting used to, but once you figure out the timing for turns, it’s weirdly satisfying to thread between cars without crashing.

It’s not exactly polished—some of the collision feels janky, and the music loops fast enough to drill into your brain—but there’s a certain charm to it. Feels like one of those arcade-style games you’d dump quarters into back in the day, just way harder than it looks. If you’re into obscure NES stuff, it’s a neat curiosity.
