About Top Gun - Dual Fighters (japan)
Top Gun: Dual Fighters came out for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1993, published by Konami. It was a late release for the NES, a time when many players were already moving on to 16-bit consoles, so it felt like one last flight on the older hardware.
You control a fighter pilot, switching between an F-14 and an F/A-18 for different missions. The main goal is to complete a series of combat sorties, which involve dogfighting enemy jets and bombing ground targets. Two key mechanics define the action: a first-person perspective during landing sequences where you must carefully manage your speed and altitude, and a two-player mode where a second person can join in.
