You control a character, either Biff or Jet, who is racing down a river on an inner tube. Your main goal is to navigate the winding waterways from start to finish without crashing. You move your tube left and right, drifting with the current while avoiding the riverbanks, center dividers, and obstacles like crocodiles, logs, and fishermen. You have a limited supply of tin cans to throw at these hazards, clearing your path. Periodically, you must also slide through gates for bonus points. The game moves at a brisk pace, and the difficulty comes from the increasingly cluttered and narrow river sections. Playing it feels like a constant, lighthearted struggle against the current.
