Oh man, Tom & Jerry on NES is pure chaotic fun—just like the cartoons. You play as Jerry, zipping through 10 levels of classic cat-and-mouse madness while Tom tries to wreck you at every turn. The goal? Rescue Jerry’s nephew Taffy before Tom turns him into a furry little prisoner.

At first, it feels impossible—Tom’s fast, and those claws are no joke. But then you find marbles to trip him up, or grab power-ups that give you a fighting chance. The levels are packed with little surprises, like hidden spots or sudden traps that’ll make you laugh (or yell, depending on how close Tom is). It’s silly, frantic, and weirdly satisfying when you finally outsmart that smug cat.

Definitely one of those games where you’ll fail a bunch before getting the hang of it, but that’s half the charm.
