Man, Titus the Fox on Game Boy is one of those weirdly charming platformers that sticks with you. You play as this scrappy little fox trying to rescue his girlfriend from a bunch of shady circus performers—which, yeah, sounds ridiculous, but it totally works. The levels are these compact puzzle-platforming challenges where you’re pushing crates, dodging clowns, and figuring out how to reach the next screen without getting squished or trapped.
The pixel art has that early '90s vibe—simple but full of personality—and the music’s got this bouncy, slightly offbeat charm. Some jumps feel just a little too precise, and yeah, you’ll probably die a lot at first, but there’s something satisfying about finally nailing a tricky section. It’s not the deepest game, but if you’re into retro stuff with a bit of jank, it’s a fun little time capsule.
Just don’t expect it to go easy on you—those circus guys play dirty.
