Remember that old-school Tiny Toon Adventures game on NES? The one where you play as Buster Bunny hopping through cartoonish levels, throwing carrots at weird enemies? Yeah, that one. It's got that classic 90s platformer feel—kinda floaty jumps, some frustrating enemy placements, but still weirdly charming.
First level throws you right into it: you're bouncing on springy mushrooms, dodging rolling hedgehogs (why are they enemies?), and collecting those little stars. The controls take a second to get used to—Buster slides a bit when you stop running—but once you get the rhythm, it's satisfying to chain jumps over gaps.
Pro tip: Hold down the attack button to charge a super carrot toss. Took me way too long to figure that out. Also, watch out for the swimming level later—those fish hit harder than you'd expect.
It's not the deepest NES game, but if you're nostalgic for Saturday morning cartoons or just want something silly to blast through, it holds up okay.
