Okay, so Tiny Toon Adventures: Babs' Big Break is one of those Game Boy platformers that somehow nails the cartoon chaos perfectly. You play as Babs Bunny—yeah, the one with the over-the-top impressions—and she’s basically trying to outshine everyone to become the star of the show. The levels are packed with that classic Tiny Toons energy: you’ll bounce on trampolines, dodge weirdly aggressive props, and occasionally turn into a giant wrecking ball (because why not?).
The controls are simple, but some jumps are just evil enough to make you mutter at your Game Boy screen. And the music? Surprisingly catchy for an 8-bit soundtrack—I still hum the carnival level theme sometimes. It’s not the hardest game out there, but there’s something satisfying about nailing a perfect run while Babs does her little victory pose. If you grew up with the show, it’s pure nostalgia; if not, it’s still a solid, silly platformer with way more personality than most.
Just don’t blame me when you get the level 3 music stuck in your head for days.
