Okay, so Tiny Toon Adventures 2: Montana's Movie Madness is basically what happens when you cram all the chaos of the cartoon into a Game Boy cartridge. You play as Buster or Babs (I always picked Babs—her hammer is weirdly satisfying) and jump through these movie-themed levels that are just packed with dumb little gags. One minute you're dodging popcorn in a theater, the next you're bouncing off film reels like a maniac.
The controls are simple—run, jump, bonk enemies—but some of those platforming bits get sneaky. There’s this one level with rising water that still trips me up. And yeah, the graphics are obviously Game Boy, but they nailed the cartoon vibe—everything’s bright and silly, just like the show. The music’s got that bouncy, slightly off-key charm too.
It’s not some deep masterpiece, but if you grew up with Tiny Toons or just want a goofy, fast-paced platformer, this one’s a solid pick. Just don’t blame me when you get the theme song stuck in your head for days.
