Oh man, Tiny Toon Adventures 2 on NES—this one’s a weird little gem. It’s Japan-only, so unless you imported it back in the day or emulated it later, you probably missed out. The game throws you right into Montana Land (whatever that is) as Buster Bunny, and it’s basically a chaotic platformer with some really odd level designs. Like, one minute you’re hopping on clouds, the next you’re dodging giant rolling watermelons. Classic 90s weirdness.
The controls are floaty in that old-school way, so it takes a minute to get used to, but once you do, it’s got that same charm as the cartoon. No idea why they never brought this one West—maybe the watermelon physics were too avant-garde for us. Either way, if you’re into obscure retro platformers, this one’s a trip.
