Tintin in Tibet on the Game Boy is exactly what it sounds like—a little pixelated adventure where you jump around as Tintin, trying not to fall into pits or get wrecked by yetis. It’s based on the comic, so if you’ve read it, you’ll recognize the snowy landscapes and that weirdly persistent abominable snowman.
The controls are… well, classic Game Boy platformer jank. You’ll misjudge a jump at least twice before getting the hang of it. And yeah, there’s some awkward enemy placement—like, why is this yak suddenly so aggressive? But it’s got that old-school charm, and if you’re a Tintin fan, it’s kind of cool seeing the story play out in chunky 8-bit.
Just don’t expect anything groundbreaking. It’s a short, simple game that feels like it was made for kids in the ‘90s—because it was.
