Thunder & Lightning is one of those NES brick-breakers that feels familiar right away—you're bouncing a ball up to smash blocks while a paddle slides along the bottom. But it's got this weird charm to it, like the way the power-ups drop (some help, some absolutely wreck you if you grab the wrong one). The music's got that classic 8-bit chiptune energy, and the later levels get surprisingly mean with block patterns.
Honestly, it's not the deepest game, but there's something satisfying about clearing a screen just before the ball speeds up to ridiculous levels. If you've played Arkanoid, you'll know what you're in for—just with a little extra NES-era jank.
