Play The Flintstones Online

I remember playing The Flintstones on my Game Boy back in 1994. It was published by Ocean Software, one of those many licensed games that filled the portable library during that era. You could always count on finding a game based on a cartoon or movie, and this was the one for Bedrock.

You control Fred Flintstone, and your main goal is to rescue Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm after they are kidnapped. The game is a side scrolling platformer where you walk and jump through different levels, from the quarry to the interior of a volcano. You use Fred's signature club to smash enemies and break apart certain blocks, and you collect items like bones to earn extra lives. The pacing is fairly standard for the time, with some tricky jumps and enemy placements that can trip you up. It feels like a straightforward, sometimes challenging, trip through the Stone Age.
