Okay, so The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle on Game Boy is exactly as goofy as you'd expect—in a good way. You jump in as either Rocky or Bullwinkle (I picked Bullwinkle first because, come on, who doesn’t want to play as a moose?), and right away you’re bouncing around these bright, cartoony levels dodging Boris and Natasha’s ridiculous traps.

The controls are simple—run, jump, maybe throw an acorn if you’re Rocky—but some of the platforming gets surprisingly tricky. There’s this one level where you’re hopping on floating pies, and I swear Bullwinkle’s big ol’ hooves make landing way harder than it should be. The music’s got that classic show vibe, all bouncy and cheerful, even when you’re getting chased by a very determined squirrel-hating villain.

It’s not the deepest game, but if you grew up with the show (or just love weird retro platformers), it’s a solid little time-waster. Just don’t expect Bullwinkle to suddenly become a precision platforming hero—he’s still a moose, after all.
