Remember Tetris on the Game Boy? Tetris Blast takes that classic formula and cranks it up with a twist—there are bombs now. Yeah, bombs. Instead of just clearing lines, you're matching colored blocks to set off chain reactions, and when things blow up, it feels way more satisfying than it should for a tiny handheld screen.
It’s still Tetris at heart—those blocks drop faster the longer you play, and the panic sets in around level 10—but the explosions add this weirdly chaotic layer. Sometimes you’ll set off a huge combo by accident and just sit there grinning. Other times, you’ll misplace one block and watch your whole plan collapse. Classic Game Boy frustration, but in the best way.
If you’ve played the original to death, this one’s a fun little detour. Just don’t blame me when you start seeing exploding blocks in your dreams.
