Okay, so Tetris Attack isn’t actually Tetris—it’s way more chaotic in the best way. You’re sliding rows of blocks left and right, matching three or more to clear them, but the screen keeps creeping up like some unstoppable candy-colored nightmare. The first time I played, I panicked and mashed buttons until everything collapsed, but once you get the hang of chaining combos? Pure satisfaction.
The Game Boy version’s got that classic crunchy sound when blocks vanish, and the music somehow makes the stress feel fun. Also, the versus mode is secretly brutal—my friend destroyed me with some ridiculous 10-chain I still don’t understand. If you’ve got a Game Boy lying around, dust it off for this one.
