Okay, so this isn't your grandpa's Tetris. Tetris 2 on Game Boy flips the script—instead of just clearing lines, you're matching colored blocks before they pile up. Same falling blocks, but now you've gotta think about color combos. At first I kept playing it like regular Tetris and kept losing, until it clicked that three reds in a row vanish, not just full lines.
The blocks still rotate the same satisfying way, but the colors make it weirdly more stressful in a good way. That moment when you realize you've trapped a lone yellow block with no matches coming? Pure panic. It's Tetris, but with a fresh little twist that makes your brain work differently.
Honestly, I still prefer the original, but this one's a fun alternate take if you've played regular Tetris to death.
