About Tekichuu Rush
Tekichuu Rush came out for the Game Boy in 1990, developed by Natsume. It was part of that wave of early portable games where developers were figuring out what worked on the small screen, often creating compact, focused experiences you could play in short bursts. This one fit right in with that experimental spirit.
You control a small, round robot navigating a multi screen maze. Your goal is to collect all the keys in a stage to unlock the exit while avoiding enemies and hazards. The main mechanics involve pushing blocks to create paths or crush foes, and you can also collect power ups that grant temporary abilities like shooting. The game moves quickly, and the difficulty comes from the limited space and the need to plan your pushes carefully. It feels like a tense, spatial puzzle where every move matters.
