Okay, so Teke! Teke! Asmik-kun World is one of those weird, charming little Game Boy puzzlers that never left Japan. You play as this round little dude (Asmik-kun, I guess?) who has to push blocks around to solve puzzles—classic sokoban vibes, but with a quirky Japanese twist.
The first few levels ease you in, but then it starts throwing curveballs like teleporters and switches that change block colors. The controls are simple, but some of those later puzzles? Brutal. I got stuck on one for like 20 minutes before realizing I had to reset half the level.
It’s got that early ‘90s Game Boy aesthetic—minimal sprites, chunky sound effects, and an oddly catchy soundtrack. Definitely niche, but if you’re into retro puzzle games, it’s a neat time capsule.
