Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Volume 1 - Gameboy Advance Video (f)(independent) Game

Okay, so this isn’t actually a game—it’s one of those weird Game Boy Advance Video cartridges that just plays episodes of the 2003 TMNT cartoon. You pop it in expecting some side-scrolling action, and instead you get a few episodes of turtles doing their thing, complete with that crunchy early-2000s animation style.
It’s kind of a novelty now, but back then, having a cartoon on your GBA felt like magic. The quality’s about what you’d expect from squeezing video onto a tiny cartridge—lots of pixelation, but the theme song still slaps. If you’re nostalgic for the show or just love weird gaming oddities, it’s a fun little time capsule.
Just don’t blame me when you realize you can’t jump-kick any Foot Clan goons.
