Man, the TMNT Double Pack on GBA takes me back—it’s basically two classic turtle adventures crammed into one cartridge. You start off picking your favorite shelled brother (I always go with Donnie’s bo staff, but Raph’s sais wreck enemies up close) and immediately dive into smashing Foot Soldiers in grimy sewers. The pixel art still holds up, especially when you trigger those satisfying special moves that clear whole crowds.
What’s cool is how each turtle actually feels different—Leo’s balanced, Mikey’s quick but weak, etc.—so replaying levels with another bro changes the vibe. And yeah, some later stages get brutal (that rooftop gauntlet with flying drones? Oof), but finding hidden pizza pickups or unlocking cheats keeps the frustration fun. Just don’t expect a cakewalk—Shredder’s cronies love cheap shots from off-screen.
If you’ve got nostalgia for arcade beat-em-ups or just want to wreck robots with ninja flair, this double pack’s a solid time capsule. Bonus points if you eat actual pizza while playing.
