About Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (e)(rising Sun)
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for the Game Boy Advance came out in 2003, developed by Konami. It was part of a wave of licensed games on the platform, and this one was tied directly to the 2003 animated series. You got a solid side-scrolling action game that felt right at home in your hands during that era.
You control one of the four turtles, switching between them to use their unique weapons like Leonardo's swords or Donatello's bo. The main goal is to fight through waves of Foot Clan ninjas and other mutants, moving screen by screen. You have a basic attack combo and a special move that uses up a bit of health. The pacing is quick, and the difficulty can get sharp, especially during some of the boss encounters. It feels like a straightforward brawler where you're constantly breaking crates for pizza to heal and pushing forward through the city streets and sewers.
