Konami released Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Battle Nexus for the Game Boy Advance in 2004, a time when licensed action games were common on the handheld. It follows the plot of the 2003 animated series, sending the four brothers on another mission against the Foot Clan.
You control Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, and Raphael, switching between them to use their unique weapons. The main goal is to fight through side scrolling levels, defeating Foot Soldiers and other enemies screen by screen. Signature mechanics include environmental puzzles that often require a specific turtle's tool to pass, and a versus mode for two player battles.
