About Tecmo World Cup Soccer (japan)
Tecmo World Cup Soccer came out in 1990 for the Nintendo Entertainment System, developed and published by Tecmo. It was one of many sports titles on the platform, arriving during a period when developers were still figuring out how to translate the flow of a real match into a simple, engaging 8-bit format.
You control a team of players on a horizontal field, moving them up and down to pass and shoot. The main objective is to score more goals than the opposing team within the match time limit.
