Tecmo Nba Basket Ball Game

Tecmo NBA Basketball on the NES feels like a cousin to Tecmo Super Bowl—same chunky, colorful sprites, just swapped out football helmets for high-top fades and short shorts. The controls are simple enough: sprint down the court, pull up for a jumper, or try to dunk on someone’s head (good luck with that against Patrick Ewing).
What makes it cool? This was one of the few games back then with Michael Jordan in it, plus you’ve got Bird and Magic in their final seasons. The rosters are straight out of the '91-92 season, so don’t expect modern three-point fests—this is old-school, elbows-out basketball. The AI isn’t exactly genius-level, but good luck stopping a fast break with Stockton and Malone running the pick-and-roll.
It’s not deep, but there’s something satisfying about nailing a buzzer-beater with pixelated MJ. Just don’t expect a simulation—this is pure arcade chaos.
