Tasmania Story Game

Okay, so Tasmania Story on Game Boy—this one’s a total throwback. You play as this scrappy little Tasmanian tiger, bouncing through these bright, chunky pixel levels that feel straight out of the '90s. At first, the controls take a second to click (that classic stiff-but-fair Game Boy jump arc), but once you get the rhythm, it’s weirdly satisfying.
The levels throw these goofy enemies at you—think walking mushrooms with grumpy faces—and some sneaky pits that’ll catch you off guard if you’re not paying attention. There’s this one ice stage where your tiger just slides everywhere, and yeah, I died a lot there. But in that good, "one more try" way.
If you’ve got a soft spot for platformers that don’t hold your hand, this one’s got that old-school charm down pat. Just don’t blame me when you’re muttering at the screen after the fifth fall into the same spike trap.
