Bandai released Tamagotchi for the Game Boy in 1997, a time when handheld gaming was dominated by simple, repetitive titles. This adaptation brought the virtual pet craze to a dedicated gaming device, offering a more involved experience than the standalone toy. You control a small, digital creature, and your primary job is to keep it alive and happy. The main objective is to raise your pet through its various life stages by constantly monitoring its needs.
