Tagin Dragon is this weird little NES game where you control a dragon and try to chomp the other dragon's tail off. At first it feels like a weird mix of Snake and tag—you're just circling each other, trying to get behind the other guy. But once you land that first bite and their tail goes flying, suddenly they're way more vulnerable. Now you can attack from any angle, and they're scrambling to bite someone else's tail to grow theirs back.

It gets chaotic fast, especially with multiple dragons. The controls are simple, but there's this weird tension where you're both predator and prey—one second you're hunting, the next you're the one missing a tail and desperately trying to survive. The pixel dragons are kinda janky-looking, but that just adds to the charm. It's one of those games where you'll yell "OH COME ON" at the screen when you get bitten right after regrowing your tail.

Definitely a hidden gem if you're into old-school competitive arcade-style games.
