Oh man, T&C 2 - Thrilla's Surfari is one of those weird NES gems that somehow makes surfing and skateboarding feel equally ridiculous and fun. You start off on this tiny surfboard, dodging waves and seagulls like they're out to get you, then suddenly you're grinding on halfpipes doing ollies over traffic cones. The physics are janky in that classic NES way—your board sticks to ramps like glue, and wiping out sends you flying in slow motion.

What really stuck with me was the bizarre mix of sports—one minute you're catching waves, the next you're playing volleyball against a gorilla. Yeah, that actually happens. The soundtrack's got this cheesy surf rock vibe that somehow works when you're barely surviving a wipeout. It's not polished by today's standards, but there's something charming about how over-the-top it all is.
