Okay, so T2: The Arcade Game on Game Boy is… well, it’s definitely a product of its time. You remember those massive arcade cabinets with the fake Uzi light guns? Yeah, this is the portable version of that. No plastic Uzis here, just you and a D-pad blasting through waves of Terminator robots.
It’s an on-rails shooter, so don’t expect much freedom—you’re basically just moving a crosshair and mashing the fire button while the game drags you forward. The SNES version at least had decent graphics, but on Game Boy, everything’s a chunky, pixelated mess. Still, there’s something weirdly satisfying about taking down T-800s with a handheld from 1989.
Honestly, it’s not great, but if you’re a Terminator fan or just love janky old licensed games, you might get a kick out of it for a few minutes.
