Supercross 2000 is one of those N64 racers that actually makes you feel like you're wrestling a dirt bike instead of just steering a vehicle. The physics are surprisingly weighty—lean too hard into a turn and you'll eat dirt, but nail a perfect whip off a jump and it's pure satisfaction. The tracks get gnarly fast, with deep ruts and sudden weather shifts that turn dry dirt into slippery mud mid-race.
You start off picking from a handful of riders (no real pros, just generic tough guys in moto gear) and bikes that handle differently—some slide more, others feel planted. First race in, you'll probably wipe out a few times figuring out how much throttle to give in the corners. But once it clicks, you're flying over tabletops, barely saving it when your back tire kicks out, and getting that old-school N64 adrenaline rush. The announcer's voice is hilariously over-the-top, yelling "SUPERCROSS!" like it's the most important moment in sports history.
It's not the prettiest racer on the system, but the chaos of 12 bikes fighting for position in a dust cloud holds up. Just don't expect a deep career mode or anything—this is pure arcade moto madness.
