Super Super Pika Land is one of those Game Boy gems that somehow makes you smile every time Pikachu does his little victory wiggle after clearing a level. You’re basically guiding this tiny electric mouse through these bright, chunky pixel worlds—jumping over pits, zapping weird floating enemies, and collecting berries (because of course Pikachu needs snacks). The controls are stupidly simple—just run and jump—but some of those later levels? Brutal. I still remember getting stuck on that one ice stage where everything slides.

It’s got that classic early Pokémon spin-off vibe where nothing makes total sense (why is Pikachu in a platformer? Who knows), but it’s weirdly charming anyway.
