Super Pitfall on the NES is… well, let’s just say it’s not exactly what you’d expect from a "super" version of the classic Pitfall games. It’s got that same jungle explorer vibe, but the controls feel stiff, and the maze-like caves can be confusing as heck. You’ll jump over pits, dodge bats, and collect gems—except half the time, you’ll swear the game’s just messing with you.
Honestly, it’s one of those games where you either love the jank or give up after 10 minutes. The music’s weirdly catchy, though. If you’re into retro frustration with a side of nostalgia, this might scratch that itch.
