Super Pachinko Taisen is one of those weird little Game Boy games that somehow makes dropping metal balls into a maze of pins way more fun than it should be. You start off thinking, "Okay, this is just digital pachinko," but then you realize there’s actually some strategy—angle your shots just right, hit the multipliers, and suddenly you’re hooked.

The physics feel surprisingly solid for a Game Boy title, and the sound effects are pure nostalgia—that satisfying clink when a ball bounces off a pin never gets old. Some tables are brutal, though. I remember one level where I kept overshooting the jackpot zone, and it took way too many tries to get the timing down.

If you’ve got a soft spot for obscure handheld arcade games, this one’s a solid time-waster. Just don’t blame me when you lose track of an hour trying to beat your high score.
