About Super Momotarou Dentetsu (japan)
Super Momotarou Dentetsu came out for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1987, developed by Hudson Soft. It was part of that wave of Japanese family games that turned familiar concepts into something you could play on the TV. This one took the board game and gave it a very specific local flavor.
You control a train token moving around a map of Japan, rolling dice to advance from one prefecture to the next. The main goal is to buy up properties and collect rent from other players, all while trying to drive them into bankruptcy.
