Super Mogura Tataki!! - Pokkun Mogurar is a Japan exclusive Nintendo Entertainment System release from 1990, developed by KID and published by Irem. It appeared late in the NES lifecycle, a time when developers were still experimenting with simple, quirky concepts for the console. The game is essentially a digital version of the classic whack a mole arcade cabinet, but with its own distinct rules and characters.
You control a character who must bonk moles, called Moguras, as they pop up from holes. The main goal is to hit them with your mallet for points while avoiding the bombs they sometimes toss out.
