Super Dyna'mix Badminton (japan) Game

Super Dyna'mix Badminton is one of those weird, Japan-only NES sports games that somehow makes badminton feel intense. You pick from a handful of characters (somehow they all have distinct playstyles?), and then it's just you, a tiny pixelated court, and way more back-and-forth than you'd expect from an 8-bit racket game.
The controls are simple—hit the birdie before it drops, basically—but the AI actually puts up a fight. I lost my first match because I kept underestimating how far the little dude would lunge for a save. Also, the crowd cheers in this weird digitized voice that sounds like someone shouting into a tin can, which is either charming or unsettling depending on your mood.
It's definitely a product of its time, but if you're into obscure retro sports games, this one's got a weirdly satisfying rhythm to it.
