Play Super Donkey Kong Online

I picked up Super Donkey Kong for the Game Boy Advance back when it came out. It was developed by Nintendo, and it felt right at home on that little screen. The GBA had a lot of platformers, but this one stood out because it was a direct continuation of the Donkey Kong Country style. You could tell they put effort into making it work on the handheld.

You control Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong, switching between them as you move through levels screen by screen. Your main goal is to get to the end of each stage, but you are also hunting for collectibles like KONG letters and banana coins. The gameplay involves a lot of jumping, rolling to defeat enemies, and using animal buddies like Rambi the rhino to break through certain obstacles. The pacing is quick, and some later levels get quite tricky, demanding precise timing. It feels smooth and responsive when you nail a series of jumps and clear a tough section.
