About Super C
Super C came out in 1990 for the Nintendo Entertainment System, developed and published by Konami. It was part of that wave of late NES action games that pushed the hardware with faster pacing and more detailed environments than many earlier titles.
You control a lone commando, Lance Bean, navigating side scrolling and overhead base levels. Your main objective is to fight through waves of enemy soldiers and aliens to destroy their central command. Signature mechanics include picking up different weapon power ups, like the spread shot and laser, and using bombs to clear the screen of smaller enemies. The game is known for its relentless pace and high difficulty, with enemy fire coming from all directions. It feels tense and demanding, requiring quick reflexes and smart weapon choices to survive.
