Super Black Bass on Game Boy is one of those weirdly satisfying fishing sims where you actually feel like you're waiting for a bite—in a good way. The pixelated water ripples, the little tension meter when something tugs your line, even the way you have to carefully reel in without snapping it... it's simple but weirdly tense.

At first I thought it'd be boring, just casting and waiting, but there's strategy—different lures work better in certain spots, and if you yank too hard, that trophy bass is gone. The tournaments get seriously competitive, and good luck landing the legendary black bass without upgrading your gear first. It's got that classic Game Boy charm where the graphics are basic but somehow perfect for what it is.

Still one of the best fishing games out there if you ask me.
