It was published by Hot-B, and it stood out because it was one of the few fishing games you could take anywhere. While other games were about platforming or puzzles, this one offered a quiet, focused alternative.

You control an angler trying to catch the biggest fish in various lakes. The main goal is to reel in different species, with a special focus on the elusive large-mouth bass. You choose your fishing spot on a map screen, then cast your line into the water. A key mechanic is watching the bobber; when a fish bites, you must press the button at the right moment to set the hook. Then the real challenge begins as you fight the fish, carefully reeling it in while managing the line tension so it doesn't break. The pacing is slow and deliberate, and it can be surprisingly difficult to land the bigger catches. It feels like a genuine test of patience and timing.
