Super Bikkuriman (English Translation) is one of those weird little Game Boy gems that somehow makes collecting sticker-like creatures feel like an epic quest. You start off picking your first Bikkuriman—I went with the fire guy because, well, fire—and suddenly you're thrown into this mix of turn-based battles and light strategy where positioning actually matters.

The pixel art has that classic early '90s charm, all chunky sprites and bright colors, and the music sticks in your head way longer than it should. At first, the battles seem simple, but then you realize some Bikkuriman work better in certain formations, and suddenly you're rearranging your team like a mini general. The translation isn’t perfect, but it gets the job done—you’ll still laugh at some of the goofy dialogue.
