Sumo Wrestling Game

Sumo Wrestling on NES is one of those weird, janky sports games from the late '80s that somehow still hooks you. You pick a wrestler—each with slightly different stats—and then it's just you, a dude in a loincloth, and a tiny ring where physics barely make sense. The controls are clunky at first (good luck not accidentally backstepping right out of the ring), but once you get the timing down, shoving some pixelated giant off-balance feels oddly satisfying.
Matches are fast, chaotic, and sometimes hilariously unfair when the AI suddenly goes turbo mode. There’s no deep career mode or anything—just tournament brackets and versus play—but it’s the kind of game you fire up when you want something silly to play with a friend. Just don’t expect it to make any more sense after a few beers.
