Street Cop Game

Street Cop is one of those weird NES games that makes you stomp on the Power Pad like a maniac. You play as a cop chasing down criminals, but instead of pressing buttons, you're literally jumping and stepping on the mat to make your guy move, swing his club, or—my personal favorite—awkwardly shuffle sideways. It's as ridiculous as it sounds.
At first, you'll probably miss every step and watch your cop flail around while the bad guys escape. But after a few tries, you start getting the rhythm—left foot to move, right foot to jump, both feet to club some sense into the perps. The Japanese version (Manhattan Police) is basically the same, just with a slightly different title screen. Honestly, half the fun is laughing at how ridiculous you look playing it.
It's not exactly deep, but there's something weirdly satisfying about nailing a perfect combo of steps and actually catching the thief. Just don't play it upstairs if your neighbors are home.
