Starshot - Space Circus Fever game

Starshot - Space Circus Fever is one of those weird, charming N64 games that never got enough love. You play as Starshot, a space circus performer who’s basically a cosmic juggler—except instead of saving the galaxy, he’s just trying to keep his circus from going bankrupt. The whole thing has this bizarre, colorful vibe, like someone mixed a Saturday morning cartoon with a fever dream.

The levels are all these weird planets with their own gimmicks—some are floaty low-gravity zones, others have you dodging giant bouncing balls (because, you know, circus logic). The controls take a second to get used to—Starshot moves kinda like he’s on ice skates at first—but once it clicks, bouncing around collecting space coins and solving dumb little puzzles gets weirdly satisfying. Also, the soundtrack is full of circus-y nonsense that somehow works.

It’s not the deepest game, but if you’re into offbeat platformers with personality, this one’s a fun little time capsule from the N64 era.
