Star Wars Episode I - Racer is basically the best thing to come out of The Phantom Menace—yeah, I said it. You hop into these insane podracers that feel like they’re barely holding together, blasting through wild tracks like the Boonta Eve Classic. The controls take a second to get used to (those turns are sharp), but once you get the hang of drifting around sand dunes and dodging rocks, it’s pure speed.

There’s a whole roster of racers, from Sebulba to random aliens you’ve never heard of, and upgrading your pod feels like tinkering with a spaceship that might explode any second. Oh, and the multiplayer? Absolute chaos in the best way. Just try not to flip out when your friend clips you at the last second.

It’s got that classic N64 jank, but in a way that makes it weirdly charming. You’ll be humming the Mos Espa theme for days.
