Remember that weird gap between The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones? Battle for Naboo fills it with some surprisingly solid N64 dogfighting action. You're mostly flying Naboo starfighters (those sleek chrome ones that look like art deco spatulas), blasting Trade Federation droids while the game throws everything from capital ships to speeder bike chases at you.

What I dig is how it mixes up the missions—one minute you're strafing tanks in a swamp, the next you're doing trench runs that feel like a sloppy-but-fun Rogue Squadron cousin. The controls take a minute to click, but once they do, you get this arcadey rush from weaving through droid control ships while lasers zip past your canopy.
